Legal
Draft · preview v0.1. These summaries describe how CrewSure is designed to operate. Final Terms, Privacy Policy and SMS Terms will be published, with the operating US legal entity, after legal review and before any live payments or texting.
Terms (summary)
- CrewSure is a technology and recruiting platform. It is not the employer of record of any worker. Employers make all hiring decisions and are responsible for wages, supervision and workplace safety, unless a shift is placed through a licensed partner staffing agency or employer of record, which then acts as employer.
- Employers pay per verified check-in or by subscription, as shown at checkout. No-shows are not billed. Show-up guarantee: if fewer than half of the confirmed shortlisted candidates for a role check in, the next shortlist for that role is free.
- Workers never pay any fee to use CrewSure.
- Pilot fees are credited toward check-ins. Founding access for AI agents ($49) is credited to the first booking and refundable on request at any time before launch.
Privacy (summary)
- We collect what you submit (email, name, company, location, use case) to contact you about the pilot and launch. We do not sell personal information.
- Candidate data is used only to match candidates with shifts they asked about, and is deleted on request.
- California residents: notice at collection, the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale/sharing. Requests: see contact below.
SMS terms (summary)
- Program: CrewSure shift alerts. We text only people who opted in. Message frequency varies by shifts you engage with. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of getting work or of any purchase.
AI disclosure & equal opportunity
- Candidates are told when they are chatting with an AI assistant and can ask for a human at any time, including to request a reasonable accommodation.
- The AI asks about availability, location, logistics and job requirements; it does not use protected characteristics and does not score video interviews. Employers make the final decision.
- Before any use for New York City roles, an independent bias audit will be completed and published as required by Local Law 144.
- CrewSure is an equal-opportunity platform.
